Happy 2018! I started this blog 1 year ago and I’ll be honest, it didn’t quite go where I intended.
I got lost along the way between too many volunteer commitments, a major computer crash where I lost all my data, and, I can finally admit it, fear.
But for 2018 I’m doubling down on my commitment, learning to flex my “no” muscle, and focusing on what I love best: birthdays!
Each month I’ll bring you a new theme and walk you through tutorials. Even though I’m focusing on birthdays, lots of these tutorials will work for things beyond birthdays. And I’ll continue to share useful information I come across.
And, most importantly, I’m going to Do It Scared®. That’s something Ruth Soukup at Living Well Spending Less talks about. Setting your big goals and not letting fear hold you back.
I’m only just scratching the surface on the great information she has, but I watched her webinar called Balance is Overrated and it definitely helped me to focus my goals and create a better plan. It’s about 90 minutes long, but if you get a chance to watch it (and even if you don’t) let me know what your resolutions are. Sometimes just making yourself accountable will help keep you on track.
Here’s to a fantastic 2018!!
